Fall In My Arms

Music and Lyrics by Allen Ling and Melissa Reese
Arrangement by Brain Mantia, Carl Restivo, and Melissa Reese

Is this destiny
Of what you mean to me
If I wait for you
Will you see right through me

He won't give you what you need
You can plead and he still won't do it

Fall in my arms baby
I'll be that loving man
fall in my arms
I will be there

Fall in my arms baby
Don't run away again
Fall in my arms
I will be there
For you

You will not believe
And you will not be hopeful
So have faith in me
I have never hurt you
He won't give you what you need
You even bleed and  he still won't do it

Fall in my arms baby
This is a one life stand
fall in my arms
I will be there

Fall in my arms baby
We'll make it work again
Fall in my arms
I will be there for you

Bridge:
Every time I try to tell you (Ohhh)
I need you to believe in us (ahhh)
He will never be the one
What I see in you
The most beautiful

Fall in my arms baby
I'll be that loving man
Fall in my arms
I will be there

Fall in my arms baby
This is a one life stand
Fall in my arms
I will be there
For you

BACK STORY:

Being the habitual rescuer that I am, I thought I would drum up some rock n’ roll song about being that special guy for that  special unloved woman.  No one inspired me to write this in particular, and I just wanted to see if I could come up with a Bruce Springsteen-ish tune.  Always pressed for time and inspiration, I couldn’t come up with a bridge and of course Melissa Reese came up with a great bridge just like she did for “Tomorrow”.
